Paper Dungeon – Deep Down is first game from NiBo Games, but it’s hardly the first game we worked on!
The game is currently being developed mainly by experienced developer Nikola Bornová. In her twenty-year career, she has worked on several games, including the well-known Czech pen & paper RPG Dračí doupě+ (co-author), stealth action Cold War (senior designer), fantasy/horror FPS Painkiller: Overdose (lead designer), dark adventure Memento Mori 2 (senior designer) and on various mobile games for Disney Mobile, Geewa and other companies. She also worked in Bohemia Interactive for 5 years.
Martin Strnad, the Executive Producer, is experienced game designer, narrative and production consultant with proven track record of 16 years in game dev and over 40 mil in sales of projects he participated on, including DayZ, Kingdome Come: Deliverance and Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
Hana Bornová is musician, who worked for example on games Pat a Mat or Memento Mori 2.
Paper Dungeon has been in development since 2021 and now has all core systems and about a third of the content completed (so it’s basically fully playable game but only with first 3 levels out of 10). The goal of the initial investment from the angel investor has been met and we are now looking for a publisher for the final phase of development (which requires a larger team) and to collaborate on the release of the game.
